Do you notice compulsive patterns in yourself or others? Do you feel helpless over these patterns? That helplessness is the doorway to healing and transformation.
Addictive patterns live in the body as well as the mind. Therapy, 12-step groups, and self-help workshops give us the opportunity to cognitively resolve the events of our past, giving little attention to the physical body.
The 12 Steps of Yoga® assists in releasing the experiences stored in the physical body while freeing the mind. Through asana, meditation, and pranayama, we investigate areas of tightness and tension, allowing for the gentle release of that which no longer serves us.
